This is my 6th year keeping a log. I keep the date, stand, am hours, pm hours, deer seen, bucks seen, and then I make some sort of comment every time out.

I' m a vb programmer, I' ve been thinking of creating a log for years. Just haven' t gotten around to it. I' ve seen some free trials of some but they are often overkill. One of these days I' ll get around to it.

One thing I' ve noticed by looking back is I don' t see many deer in september in the main stand that I hunt. Then the middle of October and November I see deer almost every time out. Tonight I saw a nice buck chasing a doe in that stand. First nice buck I' ve seen bow hunting in 3 years (wouldn' t have known that without looking back. hehe).
