I am trying to get back into muzzle loading. I made, from scratch, three muzzle loaders. Want to start shooting my 54 cal Hawken style again. I have some old lead 54s that weigh 425gr. used to shoot these with 100gr of 2f powder. Prefer to use the old style black powder. Call me dense or whatever; can't remember if these type bullets will print a tight pattern in a slow twist douglass barrel. Any input will help. Mulehead Mike
