Awhile back you guys may recall I picked up a Knight disc 45 cal with a 1:20 twist. I played around with it for awhile and it shot pretty good. I decided to bed the stock with acraglass anyway. I did that but never got around to shooting it since the bedding job.
Today even though it was in the 90's i took her out to see what it would do.
I started off with 100 gr triple 7 3f, 777 primers, and the 240 gr Dead Center 40 cal/ 45 tan sabot

The Disc has an Omega 3x9 with the bdc on it.
I didnt make any adjustments , I just wanted to see how it would group.
The first target is the 100 gr

I was pretty darn happy with that and think that just might be a good antelope load.
I quit after that because the barrel was extremely hot and so was I.
I swabbed with a spit patch after each shot and walked to mark each shot. That was the only cool down the gun had.
Overall I'm pleased.
110 gr triple 7 and the 240 gr dead centers will be seeing more practice before the season.
