I read your post - what to do after the shot, but I' ll ask anyway.

I just got my first deer with a bow - almost anyway. I shot a doe just as dusk was setting in around 6:30pm. I found the blood - bright red trail - not bad. Too dark to find an arrow. So its now 8:30pm and I am considering my options - wait till morning or go in tonight - opinions please. Any concern over spoiling meat? The temp is around 37 degrees

I am excited - finally after almost 6 days straight of sitting in the stand. Wish me luck - I' ll post a pic.
