Default Omega range session

I decided to take out an Omega I picked up a while back. It had both a regular stock and thumbhole stock. I have really come to like thumbhole stocks , so that is what I put on it.

I installed an XS Ghost ring peep sight. That's the main thing I wanted to do was see if I could get it on paper with the ghost ring peep.
I wasn't looking to work up a load or shoot for accuracy, I just wanted to try the peep out.
I had some old IMR white hots that are several years old, so I decided to get rid of them by shooting them up. I took the white hots, 250 gr Shockwaves with standard black sabots and triple 7 primers.
I only shot at 50 yards because I figured it might not be on paper,
As it turned out the first shot was not only on paper but good enough that I decided not to make any adjustments.

Here is the 2nd shot and finally 3 shots.

The first shot on a clean barrel was low, but 2 and 3 were touching..

Nothing to brag about but once I work up a load I think the XS peep will be a lot better than the Williams. I really have a hard time with adjustments on a sliding ramp style of sight.
On the XS the windage has 2 screws for adjustment and for elevation the ghost ring itself screws up or down. I might try it out come hunting season.'
It's hard to believe i was on paper with no adjustments. Some days are just good i guess
