This morning i read, and answered email. Read, and posted to forum. Checked the weather; oops, wind forecast for later. Without reading the paper, or eating breakfast, dropped 110g of BH into the vials, and headed for the hills.
It was about 55 degree at 4700'. The target ended up at 199 yard. The X7 was loaded and fired as fast as i could without hurrying. The load was 110g BH, 300g Deep Curl, crush rib sabot, W209 primer. After the 20 shot i could hold the barrel without jerking my hand away, but it was hot. The first shot was from a cold clean barrel. There was zero breeze the first two shot. After that an intermittent breeze started. Some of the shots i recall where they hit; those are marked.
If something was learned, i don't really know what. My face is kinda sore.
