got my doe last night.....a day after my birthday so i guess that' s not a bad birthday presant......35 yd shot through the heart with a hornady 175gr patched round ball in and out the other side she cartwheeled ran for about 60 yds across a grass field then plied up.........not bad for my first with my new .50 cal T/C hawkins flintlock........thanks to all who replied to my posts to let me know what i needed........ bob
