Well, I go the barrel and it appears that it will fit...I still have the saddle-mount scope & bracket on there, so I coudn' t put it on for sure. The hastings barrel is longer but that' s the only physical diff. I think I' ll take it to the local gunsmith to get the saddle mount off (you really dont want me messing with gun components, no matter how immaterial[&:]). Then I' ll let him decide if its right & let him shoot off the 1st round!
