I'm not sure when CVA started using Bergara barrels and to be honest I really don't care! If you had actually went to
www.cvaguncases.com and checked it out then you'd know that there are over 60 documented cases (lawsuits are public record) where CVA's have blown up, sometimes on the first use! The last case was settled in 2010 on a 2004 Kodiak! Too soon for any reasonable person to consider CVA's anything other than import junk in my book. On a side note I did check out Bergara and they seem to make a good barrel. I'm a little confused about the Spanish (C.I.P.) standards for barrel proofing though as I've heard that they are much lower than American standards???
