Ok i should probably know the answers to these questions but i dont. I just got a hoyt maxxis 31 bone collector edition it is set about 62 lbs and is shooting 262 at 29 inch draw with a 400 grain arrow. This is considerably slower then what im used to using. My qustions are as follows what is the kentic energy from this setup and how much kinetic energy is needed to get a pass threw on deer? What is the safest lightest arrow weight i can use to achieve maximum speed from this setup. As this bow sets now is it fast enough to use mechanicals such as rage 2 blades? What are your opinions on this bow also if youve ever had any experiance with it as well. The bow is only 50-60 lbs also. Sorry about the confusing post
