hello all, i am planning taking my sons to tanycomo to do some trout fishing, i am also hoping that we can do some bowfishing there as well, we will be down by the dam, we were thinking of taking the trip some time at the end of june,,early to mid july,,,what i wanted to know was right below the dam is bull shoals, is that a good time to bowfish for gar,,ive heard that is around the time they start to spawn?,,, and how far can we go from the dam and still be in mo waters? are there gar in tanycomo? any good areas to bowfish for them? i would be most grateful for any help in this matter
