I used to put it in my pack as well. Then the same thing happened to me. We got back to the truck and all started talking about what we saw (or didn' t see) and the next thing you know I' m getting ready to head out the next morning and my release is nowhere to be found. Thats why I keep it with my bow now. The only way I' ll forget my release is if I forget my bow. Not that thats ever hapened
