I am 48 years old and had a stroke at age 16, so I have not hunted in years.. But dispite this, I feel supercharged at getting a gobbler this year. I foundout, that the State of Missouri will allow a disabled person to hunt with a crossbow during archery and firearms season. So I purchased a crossbow with a 150 lbs draw wieght capable of shooting a arrow or bolt at 210 fps.. This crossbow comes with 8 bolts, a scope, crossbow with wood stock.. Pretty nice setup.. Heard people have shot clean threw a deer with one of these, but I want to hunt small game.. I bought a crossbow pistol too, but it is mainly for target shooting. Would have to get a turkey to approach me at 25 yards to possibly kill it.. But after seeing birds that got away with bolts in their bodies, I don't think hunting with a weaker crossbow pistol is wise. I simply don't think a 150 lbs draw weight is enough power to hunt big game like deer. But all the advice will be taken in.. Thanks
