I don't know when your last frost date date is but I was always told that Buckwheat wont tolerate a frost. I intend to plant about 2 acres of it on a small field I have but I'll probably wait until late May. My average last frost here in the mountainous part of Northcentral Pa. is aorund Memorial day. Not to be nosey but what did you pay per lb. for the seed??
