You' re a little bassackwards, DeerT. It' s the single cam that has the one continuous string and short buss cable. Duals have a short string and two buss cables.

The single cam bows I' ve owned went out of time a lot more often than my dual cam bows got out of synch. The advertising that promotes single cams and bashes duals is so far fetched and overblown that it would make even Ron Popiel proud. When averaged out, you have to retune each kind of bow about the same number of times a year. No real difference in maintenance needs.

Aussie' s right that we' re getting better materials to work with, but there still ain' t no such thing as a bow you can just set and forget.
