Less access; less hunters. There's going to be less hunting areas in many states. Not to be just negative, but reality is reality.

In one state where I've hunted, the number of maintained forest roads is going down. Reduced appropriations; means less spots where hunters can drive a vehicle. Reduce access by vehicle and you reduce access for many hunters. Been that way for a long time.

Looking at hunting public land in this one state. I have five areas I can cover in a week of hunting, if necessary. None of the spots are within 300 yards of a trail or road.

I'm walking at least five miles a week to stay in shape. I work on a different reality. There will be some kinds of hunters.
