Could be. Each choke/shell combo will be different. Maybe not be night and day, but it will be different. Personally, I shoot hevishot through a .660 choke and the pattern is tight. If I were to shoot lead through it, it might be a terrible pattern. You just can't be sure until you put it to the test.
