Growing up in south central PA we had a crow fly-way right over the farm. We hunted them but back then it was with our natural voice and using dead ones as decoys.

I got into it hunting them after moving off the family farm but not real serious about hunting them. If the season was in and we were bored, we went after them. I actually had a call and a couple of decoys this time around.

Moved to NH and hunted them a little bit but again but not much. Bought a few more decoys and would hit them whenever the urge or someone asked me to go. This year though after hearing about local crows eating turkeys. So I bought a FoxPro to hunt coyotes and the crows.

Our season came in on the March 16th and will be going out on the 31st. My wing shooting rust is gone and I'm loving every time I'm out there. My total for this short early season is only 24. That’s 20 by me, 2 shared hit (but I’m sure they were mine knowing how my buddy has been shooting), 2 MIA (landed in bog) with 2 doubles.
