Great bird, and congrats!!!! I remember my first called bird, and still feel a sense of pride every time one comes on in. Hope you learned from your hunt and take many more!!
I still get that "tingling" feeling as I call it lol. I hit the kee-kee run and he came running full speed at me. He stopped about halfway below a hill so I couldn't see him, and I was shaking. I started doing some pecks and yelps, and he was walking and strutting towards me slowly. He was strutting about 10 feet behind me, behind a tree, so I whipped around, and shot him. Successful hunt
