We had some bad storms at the end is season last year. Couldn't deer hunt some places because of all the downed trees. Im not even attempting to go near them for turkeys. I would think their in the closest possible open woods or farmland, not going to be able to go about their business in real thick woods. My only other guess would be many this warmer weathers got them out of their winter flocks and spread out a little early, that's happened here. Our woods are already green and dogwoods blamed before season came in! Hope your able to find them and have a good season!
