This morning I walked out of my front door and gave a owl hoot and a turkey fired off on the ridge behind my house. I grinned from ear to ear, because I have never heard or seen any turkeys in the spring time since I have lived hear. I then went crappie fishing, and I caught fifteen slab crappie. When I came home and was cleaning them I heard a turkey gobble several times from the same ridge. Cant wait until opening day!
