Too late now it seems, but perhaps not. You learned that a slotted screw works best when a properly fitting driver is used. This is something i learned the hard way more than once. It doesn't seem to me that any rifle manufacturer includes screw drivers with their rifles. Firing pins sticking in the bushing because of fouling is something that happens with all rifles, and is avoided by proper cleaning procedure.

The problem of igniting BH with the CVA breech plugs is a known issue. Perhaps you would have been better informed of the 'known' issue, if some hadn't denied the problem existed.
