I'm trying to figure out why a thread that was over 8 years old was resurrected like it was posted last week?

I've been a lot of places and known a lot of archers...never saw a take-down arrow before.

I have considered making a take-down atlatl dart, just because I have a bunch of old aluminum shafts that I don't know what else I could do with them. Since the stress would be much lower on them vs. a bow, I think they might work.
