I have only used mine in the video mode, that's the reason I got it. Overall I have been pleased with it but there a re a couple of things I don't like about it. First of all, the flash is so bright it can "wash out" the subject if it's too close. It also seems to be a little bit hard on batteries. I'd probably give it a 7 out of 10.
