Default Help - ATA length pros and cons

This post is more or less directed at theREV and other target shooters. I was just on the phone with an archery shop asking about the Bowtech Invasion. Well the conversation was quite informative. He told me that although the Invasion was a good bow, he just did not particularly care for the the short 31" ATA and preferred a longer bow. His explanation made sense. He stated that the shorter bows are OK out to about 45 yds but beyond that a longer bow is much better for maintaining accuracy. His opinion is that the shorter ATA is harder to maintain lever than a longer ATA bow and at the longer distances you group sized tends to widen (not so much a vertical increase but a left to right). Do you gentlemen agree with this synopsis?
If his logic is correct, then your groups size should also tighten up with a longer ATA bow at the shorter distances.
