I own the h&r ultra slug hunter in 12 gauge and I have shot 4 deer with it ranging from 75-150 yards with it. Every deer I've shot have gone no farther than 30 yards. I use 2 3/4 Remington accutips and I can hold 1/2 inch groups consistently at 100 yards. I have a 3x9x40 Zeiss conquest topping it off and it's a complete tack driver. I did have a gunsmith work the trigger down to 3 pounds and it's my best slug gun I own to date even over my browning silver 12 gauge
