Although I got some good ideas from the post on homemade shooting benches, I decided to slap one together with the materials I had laying around the garage. It seems to be nice and sturdy. I am going to add a couple of levels, one on front and one on the side. Had to make it so you could shoot from either side because my wife shoots her 270 left handed. Going to use with folding chair or fold up hunting stool, whichever fits best for height. It is light and will easily fit in back of pickup. Took only a little over an hour to build. Now I just need to paint it.
