That is about my only complaint, left with my mountaineer. I have found a solution for all other complaints. I know it is petty but, I hate the pad that comes on the Mountaineer and wish it was a limbsaver pad.

I also checked into the limbsaver and the grind to fit. These laminated stocks must just be a little small compared to others. The smallest one I found, I would have to grind almost an inch off of the pad.
