I made it back. i didnt post during the hunt as I could only get on the site on my iphone and didnt want to use up the battery as i had no way to charge it except to hike back to the truck, so i mainly saved it to let the wife know everything was ok. But I couldn't resist looking at some posts a couple times.

maybe it's time for you to look into one of those small solar chargers.sounds like that one cat may have been following you, there good at that..
