Breech, M/L company's apply film to there camo rifles and when it chips or wears you SOL as they say. when there painted you can touch any imperfection up and make it look like new again.i wear camo clothing when hunting, as most folks do and prefer a camo rifle also.My Triumph is up for a DIY camo paint job next.the plain black stock looks like #%&*! to each there own as they say
Dont get me wrong, I also prefer a Camo MLer, they do look nice. It's just that it'd be hard to duplicate a Factory Finish over a home done one. Im sure a homedone paint job would look good but how do you keep the paint from wearing off, what kind of a overcoat do you apply to the paint after it's on to keep it looking good?
