I'm glad our muzzy season is long. But they did shorten it 2 weeks this year. It ends Jan 15 instead of Jan 31st. The mountain lion season I am hunting starts Jan 1st and runs til March 31st or until 70 cats are taken or 50 female cats. it usually ends around the end of Feb due to quota. Have a good new year
I like a late cold snowy mler season, long after the rifle hunters have packed it away when the weather is so bad that nobody wants to go out except the tough.
We usually have em like that except for this year, our weather was exceptionally warm and rainy, as I write this is raining and it's Dec 31st, were usually burried in snow and have temps in the Minus.
I'd like to hunt them Cats. believe it or not there's a few around here, the DEC wont admit to any but our neighbors have pics of them on there Trail Cams, I think they were put here to do away with the deer.
