Skunks are one animal that gives me a chance to do some urban night hunting with a pellet rifle. There was a large group of skunks that would travel around my neighborhood and act like they owned the place. If I see one coming when I go outside to smoke late at night, I'll run into the house to get a .177 springer rifle. Aim for the head, and quickly stuff them into 4-6 plastic bags to cut down on the smell. They generally don't release very much scent when they're shot by surprise. But once the smell oozes out it can linger so don't waste too much time taking photos. One photo shows some drops of blood from one skunk that I only wounded. I think that scared it off for a while.
