Pepie La Pew history - do like the sardine idea or even a can of tuna.....but then again it might be jsut Cat food!...and I have a great recipe to remove skunk scent off dogs!
1 Quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide, 1/2 cup baking soda, and a dash of dawn dish soap(other dish soaps work too) - Mix all ingreidients, wet dog with hose and lather on dog. Rinse and repeat. A quart makes enough to douse the dog at least twice. I then follow up with a normal dog shampoo - if used - guaranteed that mutt can sleep with you with no stinky effects!

This recipe works Great!
I had to use it on my black lab 2 times, after the second time he learned his lesson.
But I use the whole box of baking soda along with the full quart of Peroxide and a good squirt of dawn dish soap.
I mix it all togeather in a big bowl and apply real good and let set for as long as the dog will let you, then partial rince, apply the rest, let set and rince again. Followed by a scented dog shampoo bath and a spray of nice manly smelling cologne.
