If you stick to the loads listed in currently published loading manuals you should be just fine. There has been a considerable investigation into the phenomenon with somewhat " mixed" results. However more and more substantial information is becoming available on it. If you don' t mind a somewhat lengthy read concerning the subject one such article is located at:

There is more information available by following links concerning reduced loads and pressure excursions. Actually there is an entire book concerning it by Brownell at Wolfe Publishing.

The simplest solution is to NOT decrease or increase the suggested loads in the major manufacturers loading manuals!
