Well, a lot of those people opposed to Sunday Hunting were land owners as well as Church goers. One guy in particular is a neighbor of mine. He's a great guy, gave me permission to hunt on his property and fish in his bass pond. His comment to me was that bullets know no boundaries and he reserves his property for his grand children to use on Sundays for hiking and scouting.
And as the owner of that land I fully support his "INDIVIDUAL" right to allow or restrict hunting on his land whatever day of the week he wants. But don't tell me what a great guy he is if he supports using the law to force other private land owners to honor his holy day. That's just wrong.
It's like I have always known. There are way too many people out there that cannot just be content to live their lives as they see fit and leave you to do the same so long as what you are doing doesn't harm them, their property or their rights. Nope, they have to use the law to "force" you to be just like them. People like that are basically clueless to the concept of what makes America great. In short they are piss poor citizens that I'll be happy to see go the way of the Do Do.
