Valentine, I don't know what state you are in, but in Pa. the Game Commission could care less about herd balance. Watch these Forums and you see more and more complaints about seeing less deer in a bunch of different states. In Pa., Game laws are pretty much dictated by revenue generated and the practice is starting to spread.
