Im a Virginia resident and we are not allowed to hunt on Sundays here. We pay so much for the lisences that we should be able to hunt all days of the week. The prices keep going up on lisences each year. You SHOULD be able to hunt on Sundays if you want. Most people are only off on the weekends and after paying a lot to hunt 1 day may make some hunters quit hunting. Im a Christian so i understand Sundays are a day of rest but the same law that keeps you from hunting on Sunday doesnt keep you from working on the day you are suppose to rest. I know that a Deer is one of gods creatures, but isnt a Fish one to? And you can fish on sunday! I think the ban on Sunday hunting should be lifted in all of the states that still have it. If you are a Virginia resident and have not yet signed this petition please do, the more Hunters the better. Also get your family to sign it to. I got it off a group on Facebook and it has spreaded like a Wildfire. Ive also put it on this forum in the South part and the Whitetail deer hunting section.
