Somebody should take you up on that pronto as that's a great price on that scope. I just bought my second VXI last week (4-12x40) for a .243 Sako, have another 3-9x40 on a Ruger 25-06, and a VXII 3-9x40 on a 30-06 pre64 Model 70. You can't beat them.
