I'm very pleased with my new Black Diamond XR purchase, but have an issue with the rear fiber optic sights. Red dot scopes and fiber optic sights play tricks with my eyes while standard non-fiber optic sights do not. The red front fiber optic at the muzzle appears crisp to me, but on the rear sight I see four dancing green dots. The Lyman style flip up sights on my Thunderhawk and Deerstalker do not play tricks with my vision. I am not allowed to black power hunt with a scope in my region, so I need to find a solution.

I see that Williams makes a specific Black Diamond rear peep sight, which I assume mounts into existing scope mount holes behind the percussion cap area. Has anyone mounted this product, or replaced the rear fiber sight with a non-fiber option?
