Default RE: big deer in town

This also happened to me twice. The first time is when I was a kid and had a chance at my first deer. I was sitting at the bottom of a large tree and heard something behind me. Thinking it was probably a squirrel, I eased around slowly to see a big doe (seemed big to me at the time) walking along slowly feeding not 30 yards away. I raised my grandfather' s .32 cal. Winchester but couldnt pull the trigger. I had the hammer pulled back and everything, I was so nearvous, I just couldn' t shoot. The second time is when I was a teen ager and had my crosshairs on my first BIG buck. He was walking across a clearing and I froze once again. When I finaly shook it off, I pulled the trigger but was so nervous, I still missed him. The buck just stopped, looked around then kept going. I figured it wasn' t worth me taking another shot at him as he won that war. Good Luck!! -- CDH
