With out walking and seeing your property first hand it's hard to determine the problem. My guess is water is not the only issue. How is your cover on the property and do you have any food plots? Usually deer migrations are caused by one of the two. Lack of cover once the under growth and corn fields disappear and or lack of a sustainable food source. Acorns don't last a long time and once crops have run their cycle the deer go to where the food is. Deer can go days with out water but they need food and cover on a daily basis.
