Got out today at 50 yards again and shot 80gr 3f American Pioneer 3f with .018" patch and .490 round ball. Very nice little shooter! I pulled a 1" 3 shot group with that combo and it was perfectly 3" above the bulls eye which should put me close to dead on at 100 yards. Obviously the original owner had this set up just right for round ball. Im running low on powder so im pretty much done shooting her for the time being until i pick up some RS or Goex 2f.
The .018 - .490 ball loaded very nicely and as long as i didn't let the fouling get hard from sitting to long, she loads up easily.
I am blowing patches so i may have to give the bore a 100 strokes with JB Bore Paste and see how that does. Some patches blew in half, others came out perfect so i don't know. Just have to try one thing at a time until its perfect or close to perfect.
