I just request the Nikon Prostaff 7 10x42's for Christmas from the wife. She has already got them but I have to wait.
I compaired them side by side with the Monarch's, and the Diamonbacks and I couldn't tell the difference between any of them in the store. My wife had $35 off at Dick's Sporting Goods and they don't carry Vortex so I told her I wanted the Prostaff 7's. I think anyone of them will serve you well.
