Durable and reliable simplicity is the rule I have always followed. The more " stuff" there is on a bow, especially if mechanical in operation and complex in adjustment, the greater the odds that something will fail at the wrong time.
A shooter generally has but a few seconds -and less, to get on target, line up the pin, and make the shot. I would definitely not want to add more encumbrances that are going to distract visual concentration… peripheral or not. Why make accuracy dependent upon more " things" than is actually required?
