I'm liking those Fullfield II's as well, and with the E1 Series coming out, my guess is the II's are going to be discounted quite a lot. You can already pick up the 2-7X35s for around $140.
Understanding that Simmons has a (likely deserved) bad reputation as a bubble pack scope, I think that the 4X Prodiamond is an exception. Possibly because it's a fixed scope with less moving parts, less to go wrong. No way does it compare to a $200 scope but at $40, who would expect it to? With the vast, vast majority of ML and shotgun shots inside of 100yds (hell, inside of 50yds), it's a fast and cheap way to get some glass on your rifle. Then save up for the Zeiss!
