I'm looking at the 7-08 also.I'm actually between the 270, 7-08 and the 308. The only down fall, in my area, is ammo availibility. The other two are far more availible.

My #1 choice as far as a rifle is Winchester model70 extreme weather.Another one i like is the Remington 700 CDL SF.But you need to pick the rifle that feels the best in your hands.
