You sound confident in you thought process but this has me thinking…

I kept on searching for information and user experiences with this device and most said that it has helped them.

Wouldn’t a bows natural mechanical torque be the same every time you draw? Meaning once you’re sighted in you shouldn’t have to compensate?

I think this product is trying to provide the shooter instant information regarding the amount of hand torque they are subjecting to the riser. I think hand torque and mechanical torque are different things and the shooters enemy is more so the hand torque once the bow is properly tuned.

Am I wrong in thinking this?
