I don't think you can do much better than the Sako 85 (or A7) if you can afford it. Otherwise I would go with the Browning. As for the choice of chambering; As much as I love the good old .270 Win, I think I would opt for the 270 WSM.
IMO a great combo would be the A-bolt or X-bolt in the micro hunter configuration in 270 WSM.
