Default Elk Rub

Today was spent in the Northern Hills trying to kill a whitetail doe. Saw 2 bucks, and had 3 mule deer doe, but no tags for them. The whitetail doe i saw, all were waving white things at me as they ran away. Guess i wasn't sneaky enough; perhaps it was because the wind was swirly.

One thing i did see a lot of were elk rubs. Seemed them elk hung out where i hunted today a couple three months ago. After awhile, i got to thinking that perhaps some of the good old boys out East hadn't ever seen an elk rub, so i took a picture with my X7 leaning on the rub for perspective.

Also saw a yeti track. At first i thought all them were old man tracks from a couple days ago, but then i saw the one with distinct toe marks in the snow. The tracks were some longer than mine, and perhaps 2 day old.

Seems kinda strange out of all them old yeti track in the snow, only one had toe marks in it.
