I don't shoot anything but Blackhorn 209 in my Prohunter but I never lube the breachplug, just teflon tape it and I get 0 blowback and the breachplug always comes right out. If totally clean barrel I will dry patch any oil out of the barrel. Then I pop 3 primers before a hunt and run a dry patch to distribute the fouling. From there I take it hunting. When it is in storage clean I use either Breakfree or some great stuff if you can find it called Fluid Film. I also keep a light film of Rig on the metal parts when in storage.
